MBFW Tbilisi

As a main fashion event in Georgia, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi successfully puts a spotlight on aspiring local designers. Inviting media and buyers from all around the world, it has been able to launch a number of brands that are now well-known, loved and represented in world’s leading retail chains and concept stores.

After MBFW Tbilisi (that was planned to May, 2020) cancellation due to pandemic outbreak, the main focus was to update the global press with information about the planned event and to raise awareness of the residents’ FW20/21 collections. With the help of proper communication and the strength of MBFWT as a brand on the global fashion scene - numerous publications have supported it by writing features about the future of the fashion system and publishing the lookbooks of the brands that were supposed to showcase their collections during the physical event that never took place. The following seasons WR team continued to support MBFWT digitally - as the physical event still didn’t take place because of pandemic restrictions.
